With a passion for community service, nonprofits, entertainment and journalism, Morgan has applied integrated marketing skills to increase awareness of various organizations in Florida for more than 7 years and was selected for a temporary paid position with Warner Music Group in sales and marketing upon graduation.
As a freelance journalist, Mr. Morgan has published articles in several online and print publications. Quincy newspaper Gadsden County Times was his starting point, contributing stories in different sections and covering community events and town council meetings. As a former sports news assistant with the Tallahassee Democrat, a Gannett owned media company, his role providing statistics for high school and college sports expanded into writing daily high school sports stories, including highlights from prep sports with quotes from interviewing sources.
His creative writing portfolio continues to grow, as he enjoys covering different beats such as sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and regularly contributes to blogs such as Celebrity Net Worth and others. A former radio promotions assistant, Morgan began his tenure in college radio, which led to working with Cumulus Radio, the second largest radio station operator in the United States. As an example of his networking and interpersonal skills, he was able to assist in securing major music videos deals for notable artists in which one of his clients was featured on BET's hit show 106 N' Park. Presently, he has joined forces with Christopher 'Play' Martin, from the iconic hip hop duo Kid N' Play, managing and editing content for his digital media platform, handling bookings and also serving in a marketing capacity. He continues to serve as a mentor and help small businesses with content management thru social media platforms and has been regarded as a young force to be reckoned with due to his diverse skill set and proven track record of success.
